Coverage as structured data, frozen at the moment it matters.

Policies with real coverage structure: limits, deductibles, forms, endorsements and the clauses a certificate holder will ask about. A policy in Certova is a set of fields you can query, not a PDF with a number typed next to it.

Coverage is snapshotted, frozen, at the moment anything is issued against it. When a certificate is questioned two years later, the answer is what the policy said that day — not what the record says now.

What it does

Retyping coverage from a dec page into a certificate form.

  • Endorsements as data

Additional insured, waiver of subrogation and primary and non-contributory are modelled as endorsements on the policy, so the certificate cannot claim what the policy does not carry.

  • Two ways in, so there is no gap

Carrier download populates the record where it is available, and dec-page ingestion covers the carriers where it is not.

  • Frozen at issue

A frozen policy snapshot rides with every issued document. That snapshot is the errors-and-omissions defence.
